“IDGs” stands for “Inner Development Goals,” translated as “internal development objectives.” These are a set of goals aimed at promoting personal inner growth and development. IDGs are particularly noted in the fields of leadership and organizational development, supporting individuals in areas such as self-awareness, empathy, collaboration, creativity, and action.
Designed as a tool to enable individuals to contribute more effectively and sustainably to themselves, the people around them, and the broader society, IDGs are inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This concept is based on the idea that not only external socio-economic goals (SDGs) are important, but also the internal growth and development of individuals.
IDGs aim to provide guidance for leaders and professionals to deepen self-awareness, develop empathy, engage in effective communication, and make better decisions. This, in turn, is believed to enable individuals to maximize their potential and exert a greater impact on organizations and society.
